A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive, or on your mobile phone or other device. Tracking pixels do not identify individual users, and the analysis of data obtained by tracking pixels is performed on an aggregate basis.
Cookies help us improve our website, by enabling us to monitor the pages you find useful. However, a cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us as detailed above.
Furthermore, when you visit the Site or open one of our emails, we may allow authorized third parties, such as but not limited to ad servers, ad agencies, and ad research firms, to place a unique cookie, pixel, and/or similar technologies on your browser in order to provide you relevant em-om advertisements as you surf the internet. These advertisements may be targeted to you based on information these authorized third parties know or infer about you and include in the cookies placed on your browser, and/or on information about your internet browsing activities gathered through your browser.
We might also use Google Analytics to measure Site usage and improve our users’ experience. The Google Analytics features might allow us (i) to evaluate and generate reports on certain demographic, behavioral, and interest metrics of users collected by Google, and (ii) to create advertising campaigns based on such metrics.
Users can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings form at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.

Sharing of Collected Information
We may share your information with various third parties as follows:
a) With all users
If you are a Caregiver or a Family, and in order to optimize your search for a job or the care you need, we share with all Site users the information that is included in your job posting or profile, as well as the information you share when registering. After obtaining a user’s explicit consent, we may include their full name in such testimonials or endorsements.
If we terminate your registration/close your account for any reason, we reserve the right to send a notice of such termination/closing to other users with whom we believe you have corresponded.

To further optimize the ability of Families and Caregivers to find a caregiver or a job, selected information contained in Families’ job postings and Caregiver profiles, such as but not limited to: photo, first name, first initial of last name, city, country, and job/Caregiver description, may also be shared with third party search engines, social media sites, and other third party websites or vendors who run classified advertising and other businesses, and may therefore be listed in third party web site search results and on third party websites, which would make that information available to the public and allow them to link to your em-om posting. Moreover, if you post information in an em-om online forum, your content, including your name, may be displayed in third party search engine results and available to the public.
e) With third parties to send you direct postal mail from other companies
We may also share some of your information such as, but not limited to, your name, postal address, your age, number of children, and the type of care you are looking for, with third parties that are in the business of facilitating communications (e.g., direct mail brokers) in order for them to send you postal mail advertisements from companies and businesses whose products or services may be of interest to you. We do not share email addresses for this purpose, nor do we allow such third parties to provide the information we have shared with them directly to the companies/businesses whose products are being advertised. In any case, if you do not want to receive these advertisements by postal mail and prefer that we do not share your information with these third parties for that purpose, you may opt-out by emailing us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
